Storyboarding

Here are some photos of us in the studio working on the storyboard and scene layouts.

The orange marks are for finished pencil tests.



 We did a bit of math to figure out the logistics of the soundtrack and how we can time the movements of our characters.  We used the free program audacity to break it down frame by frame.  This method made the animating very fun and easy, already knowing what the key frames and loops would start and end on.

Forty's first walk test.

Walk Cycle- The Butt

Practicing some walks. This one is a little choppy and awkward, but it was very helpful to do. Every sketch and test seems to flesh out the characters a little more, making animating them quicker and more natural.
